Not bad app For Supporting Artists

Pretty sweet deal. I tin buy piles of music from Bandcamp and support the artists I similar, plus access an abundance of music wherever I am without having to trade out Mp3s off of my iPhone 8 because of infinite issues. I can also listen to songs off my wish listing every bit well, at the creative person's discretion which is very cool.
The ability to be able to search all of Bandcamp for artists, songs and add together to the wish list from the app is awesome and very convenient. Dear the fact I tin access my wish list now and be able to stream whatever songs I similar instead of being limited to a featured track. Across the fact one cannot purchase from the app, I would say information technology does everything at present I would normally accept to do from the website. My simply 2 large complaints are at present it is mixing my suggested artists releases with the people I follow so I may have to ditch them because I don't accept all day searching for my artists. Also, isn't it fourth dimension for a real iPad app?? Other than those problems I like now getting messages from the artists most new releases or whatever.

Inconsistent and not-so-user-friendly

When I signed up I had a specific ring in mind that I was going to subscribe to. Information technology took me actually going to the bands website to observe the link to pay for my subscription. I added my cc info on the app and then had to re-enter it when signing up thru the bands website, which raises the question: Why does the app need my cc info? And why not have the subscription link on the bands page with the "follow" button? It seems to me that this would actually deter subscribers without an easier access to the service.

I take seen and am very familiar with a friends account to reference my next 2 claims: the catalog listing is ridiculously inconsistent. The shows that are in my electric current catalog are in completely unlike gild than my friends, leaving me searching for a needle in a haystack searching for the newest additions. It also looks like they are some missing. And so where are they?

The item band that I subscribe to has 22 years of soundboards and they have been uploading 1 (sometimes two at a fourth dimension) every few days since the pandemic started. That's almost a year of older soundboards being uploaded- all from different fourth dimension periods- every few days. Now, it'due south all a mess. Even recent soundboards from 2019 of multiple-night runs are out of lodge and not placed together. Information technology's like someone only threw them all in a handbag, shook it up, dumped it out and walked away.

Non User Friendly

For some reason they took away the History tab and replaced it with downloads. That substantially rendered the app useless for me because I take almost 1500 albums in my collection and if I was actually enjoying something information technology was a adept way to quickly access things I was playing repeatedly. Otherwise I have to ringlet eternally or try to use the clunky, unreliable search engine which oftentimes does not provide complete listings. Why tin can't we accept the History tab back? This app has been nothing but trouble, when information technology works it'southward okay but it an be buggy. Plus Bandcamp customer service is nonexistent. They have never responded to a single on of my emails for support. No way to organize my collection, it's pretty disappointing. Too bad they don't have whatsoever contest. At present, for some unexplained reason, the app has stopped working on my iPad..... information technology worked this morning.

Update: there is now no manner to fifty-fifty email them via customer support because there is no way to send the bulletin from their web site. This lack of regard for the customer is appalling. I am going to email all the artists I back up and tell them why I volition no longer be doing business concern with such an irresponsible and disrespectful business organization entity. Zero customer back up, lousy interface, buggy app and whatsoever useful functionality rendered useless. 🤬
